I've dropped my earrings in the ocean!! They are a size 00... will they shrink in 2 weeks??

I'm vacationing in Colombia...so far i can not find any place that sells them, or even people who know what i'm talking about... i don't want them to shrink...please help with ideas on what i can put in them instead of earrings..
