the story opens with a outlaw named mark mcgivens being shot and going to be turned into the undead by a swamp witch, but first he must eat a live rabbit, he then becomes the dark master a vampire like creature wrapped in bandages like a mummy, his followers are blood lords, he is cursed to walk the streets of wetumpka alabama every halloween, he can be weakened by light but never destroyed he targets 4 brothers, jacob carter , luke carter , william carter and nathan carter, who are under the care of their drunk uncle jack carter, he also targets the carter native american friend mr. baloo, and jacob carters love interest melissa wilson, and her baby sister cindy wilson, the story will have 3 sequels
