What is wrong with my A/C?

Sometimes when we run our A/C it will run for 12 hours and then it will quit blowing through the vent (but it's still running). The air feels like it's just hovering in the vent. Other times we can get it to run for a week before it returns to just hovering in the vent. The unit is bran new and we recently had it filled with free-on. I don't know anything about HVAC, maybe someone can give me an idea as to what could be going on?

Acid reflux babies, a sleep question?

Does your little one sleep on their tummy? I have heard so many times that this is the most comfortable for them. Sophie is 5 months old and takes Zantac twice a day. She seems content except at bedtime. She keeps waking up grunting and kicking her legs out, locking them at the knees. She cries and fusses. I've tried everything: gas drops/tylenol/gripe water/pumping her legs/and even nursing her. The only thing that stops her crying is for me to roll her onto her stomach. She farts really loud and goes to sleep instantly. So, I try to roll her back over and she wakes up grunting and crying in like 5 minutes. I put her back on her stomach and out she goes. She has done this for 4 days in a row now. I didn't get a wink of sleep last night because I had to keep checking on her to make sure she was breathing ( I know her neck muscles are strong enough now and she pushes up a little with her hands too, but I'm still paranoid!). Her MD said soon enough she will be rolling over and I couldn't stop her from sleeping on her stomach. I'm just scared. She sleeps soooooo well on her stomach though. She doesn't wake up once for about 10 hours, not even when her pacifier falls out! Advice????? Thanks!

I had a 4th degree tear with my first where my doctor said she sewed as far as she could reach, even though she did cut me twice (episiotomy) knowing I would probably tear. I also pushed for 2 hours. I was advised to not have for at least 12 weeks and due to the psychological aspect, I didn't have for a long time after that. I had an epidural so I didn't feel the actual tearing but I don't remember the healing process anymore. I remember when the stitches were healing feeling itchy and pain getting up and down, but it wasn't that bad overall. When my husband and I had , it was tight too and we just had to increase time. Well, the good news, is my second child, I did have an epidural but he came out in 7 minutes and I only had one tiny little cut and tiny tear and healed with no problems. I was doing too much so even after I healed, I re-opened the wound by not taking it easy so I had to heal twice. So, you don't have to have a c-section. Giving birth the second time around is usually easier.

How can I stop obsessing over my mom?

I stopped talking to her over a year ago because she plays so many games with me and the rest of the family. When do you remove the callus remover?

Okay, so I bought this callus/corn remover. I've been having callus on my big toe and second toe on my right foo due to my history of wearing bad fitting shoes. i got this callus remover and the directions say to soak my feet in warm water, dry and apply one drop at time and wait for it to dry. 26 Weeks Pregnant, Can't Stand To Eat Actual Meals, Cravings Sweets?

hey, I'm 26 weeks pregnant. and lately, I havn't been as interested in food as usual. Like just certain types of foods tho. Mainly all the meal type, foods I just can't stand to even think about. things I usually always ate for dinner in the past, such as spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, meats, pasta's, ravioli's, etc... with my first pregnancy, I never really developed food adversions this late in the pregnancy. and now, every thing sounds terrible in the last couple weeks. the only foods that I really want to eat, that I crave, are more sweets, like candies, cakes, cookies, ice cream like crazy, some fruits, breads, such as bagels, and pop tarts. I can't stand to eat actual meals, so I've just been snacking more on random snack type foods. why is this, do you think my appetite will go back to normal soon?

Is glacier snowboarding suitable for advanced beginners (read my case)?

I can ride pistes with red marking, but I am not really good at it because I have been snowboarding only 5-6 times in my life... all during the last winter. My (ex) boyfriend and I have been together for 11 months, some days were amazing while others were nothing short of hell. During those 11 months we battled his addiction to heroin, with a few relapses he's finally reached 2 months sober. But I don't know how to get past the hurt when I don't see some more actions taken on his side. This past weekend I told him I didn't like this guy he was hanging around because I find him to be bad news, (I see him as one who's going to bring him back down to using...). SO now he's ignoring me and won't talk to me. I told him I can't go on in a relationship like this if he can't talk to me because I'm expressing my thoughts and feelings of fear. Whenever I seem to talk about some of my issues with our relationships he turns it all around on me, and it seems to be solely about him and his feelings. What is wrong with my wireless Router?

I bought a Netgear N300 WNR2000v2 Wireless Router online. After going through all the directions and the Netgear Genie to set the router up, I can't get any internet. I am pretty new to this internet set up stuff, so long story short I have no on earthly idea what I'm doing. I can connect perfectly fine wirelessly with my iPad and my iPhone, but when I try to connect my computer I can only get "Connected with limited access". It also displays a message that says the connection is local only. I really REALLY need to get this issue solved as quickly as possible. Would kidney or intestinal ulcers cause pain?

I've been having pain in my waist (kidneys area) front and back, and when I urinate sometimes it feels irritated, not necessarily burning feeling, more like an itch. Also I experience tingling and sometimes pain in my . I went to a free clinic and the urinalysis looked fine, I got an STD test just in case but the results are not back yet (I haven't had a partner in months so I'm not terribly sure STDs are anything to do with it, more my poor dietary choices). I'm convinced these are ulcers, especially since stress seems to aggravate the pains, but I'm wondering if that explains the pain too.

UCR vs Cal State for Undergrad?

I'm struggling to choose between University of CA, Riverside and Cal State East Bay. I want to major in International Studies/Relations and go to law school after getting my Master's degree. I'm a little nervous about going to CSUEB because it's so far, I'll be on my own, and not sure if a Cal State is the best route to take for grad and law school. Likewise, I'm tired of being in Riverside and so close to home. Not to mention that UCR is often deemed as UCRejects or Retards with good reason. (Why did I apply there then? Had normal bleeding until november..since then had a period every 5 days lasting 8 days. help?

HI, I had been taking the yasmin pill for a few months after it been changed due to withdrawal bleeding.. my periods came back regular, decided to come off of it as i am planning for another child with my partner..so i finished the last pack in september. i was so happy to see that my periods were back to normal after having a period at the end of september and october. When it came to november my period came at the end of the month like normal but it lasted for 8 days. Thought nothing of it but then 5 days after finishing this period i came on again (period pains and everything with it) lasting for 8 days. The same thing has been happening up until this present day and would like to know what's wrong with me. I'm only 20 so it cant be menopause. My doctor says its normal but it doesn't feel normal, also been feeling really tired. Pregnancy is also out of the equation. Thank you.

What should I do about dirt trapped in my finger?

Due to the type work I do I've had a million splinters. The body will retain gl without necessarily getting infected. But the body will not tolerate wood and it will get/stay infected. I don't know what the accepted medical approach to this would be but here is what I've done (if I constantly ran to the doctor every time I had a splinter I'd have to claim bankruptcy years ago). Sit watching TV with your hand soaking in a bowl of hot water and detergent or betadine solution. After about 45 minutes the wound will open up again. Squeeze and probe with a needle soaked in alcohol until you get the foreign object out. The infection around the foreign object will provide some "lubrication" (pus) for expelling the object . It won't be fun/feel good but when the object is expelled you will get immediate relief. Once out cram Neosporin as deep as you can into the hole. Continue with keeping it dry and new Neosporin/bandaids for 3 days +/-. If the object is very deep (a quarter inch or more) you'll have to go to the doctor and let the doctor cut it open and remove the stuff and suture it shut. You will get other answers here screaming not to do this but I've done it HUNDREDS of times. The most important part is the Neosporin - it is MAGIC stuff.

Back talking sixth graders?

I'm entering my second week student teaching in a sixth grade cl and still don't know what to do about the kids' back talking. Clroom management is definitely not one of my strong areas, but even when I try to be firm and ask the students not to do something, they will turn it around and say, "No, I'm not doing that." or just shrug it off. Punishments such as keeping them in from recess don't seem to work. I'm going to be teaching more subjects soon, and I'm really worried about the outcome. Any advice?

Wiring a Natural Gas Hot water Boiler?

I Have replaced the dual control on boiler & I misplaced the wiring diagram for it (made a diagram when I removed it 3 months ago) The Dual Control has Two Dials on it with 2 terminal screws under each Dial, One dial is Limit & Other is Circulator ... I have a total of 6 wires that go to the dual control, 2 wires from the circulator pump, I'll asume goes to the circulator dial.. I'm not sure where the othe 4 wires go? 2 wires from the gas vavle & the other 2 are form the thermostat, Do these 4 wires go onto the limit dial Or does any of them go onto the circulator dial? .. I know that the thermostat are low voletage & I'm worried of wiring it wrong... Any input is greatly apreciated....

There's been lots of names mentioned for 1B though, such as: Aubrey Huff, Nick Johnson, and more of long shots Victor Martinez and Adrian Gonzalez. Another interesting idea could be to move Adrian Beltre to 1B, if Seattle falls out of it. I have seen that Abu has been returned to our country, and he is now in the jail, and he is wishing that someday he may be released from the jail and live a life like a normal man. But here the question is that many lives has been expired due to their past crimes. And the people who have lost their near and dear ones, they may want and try in every way at every stage that he may be hanged by the court of law. My question is simply a legal one. My mum has to have an operation to remove a malignant primary 6mm nodule from her lung. She has to have a lung function test to see if they can use a probe to remove this nodule ,or if not, have surgery. She has to see the oncologist post op also. Will she have to have more scans post op? She has already had a PET scan which showed the primary in the first place. What are the complications post surgery? I am worried more cancer will be found.
