Radioactive Beta Emission?

Beta particles are merely electrons, they can be easily removed from a nucleus. Radioactivity is the result of fission, neutrons are released, if a chain reaction of emission is taking place you have a fission bomb. E=MC2 relates to nuclear fusion, there is no alpha particle radiation involved here.
