How do I change my Email Address for my AIM?

By mistake, I put in the wrong email address for a new AIM screen name i created. Now I cant changed it b/c its asking for approvals from both email addresses. BUT the email address i put in the 1st time was a typo. How can i change the email address to my new one without them having to get an approval from the typo email address?
